Ed Carter is a music and arts producer and consultant, with a focus on technology and digital media.

He is currently working alongside Owl Project on FLOW, creating a floating waterwheel and interactive artspace for the River Tyne, commissioned by Arts Council England for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Other ongoing projects include 'Arborescent' with Joseph Sully, a new piece of audio-visual software for creating music in real-time, using a non-linear, 3D environment.

Ed releases music under the name Winter North Atlantic, and has performed widely, including festival appearances at the Big Chill, Moor Music Festival, and Green Man.
